Hello! I’m Beth and I’m a Nutrition therapist and health coach, a wife and a mamma to 3.

I think it is much too easy when we decide to get a bit healthier to put all of our focus onto Nutrition and Exercise and to go in with an all-or-nothing approach.

I am here to help you to slow down, take a breath, and look at the bigger picture.

Maybe you feel like you have tried every diet known to man, and you are still not where you want to be.  Or maybe it’s Sunday night and you are eating absolutely everything unhealthy in your cupboards in preparation for yet another diet-starts-Monday plan and the thought of never eating your favourite chocolate bar is seriously depressing, but this time is going to be THE time that change happens…

I’m here to tell you that there is another way.

You don’t need yet another fad diet.  You don’t need to restrict what you eat and cut out whole food groups.  There is a much better way.

My approach is based on the four pillars of Health – Nutrition, Movement, Sleep and Stress Management.

What does the word ‘Nourish’ mean to you?

I think that at a basic level being nourished means eating well and eating foods that support your health and wellness goals. It means eating food that makes you feel both physically and emotionally good.

But, I think that the word nourishing means so much more than that.  I think it means taking care of yourself.

Nourishing means living a more purposeful, intentional life and getting out of your own way to be happy.

Intentionally unplugging so that your mind can have a break.  Making sure you are having 15 minutes of me-time to re-fill your cup.  It means prioritising your sleep.

It means finding ways to make you feel good, whether that is how you are moving, what you are doing or where you are spending your time.

It means intentionally simplifying our homes and routines so that our home can become our calm place.  Our anchor when things get a little too crazy.

It means recognising when you need to slow down and take a step back to re-nourish your mind and body.

It means deciding to ignore the dishes and the laundry and the mess and just collapsing on the sofa, or just ignoring it all and bundling your family into the car and having fish and chips on the beach.

It is also something that I think mothers do an amazing job of when it comes to their children, but it is also something we completely neglect when it comes to ourselves.

Making changes can seem unbelievably overwhelming, but I can help you simplify things, break them down and make a plan.

There is no one size fits all when it comes to health, we all live extremely different lives in extremely different circumstances – but I strongly believe that if you decide to focus on nourishing yourself, everything else will just fall into place.
